St. James's Market
Since opening at Christmas 2016, Ole & Steen's first bakery outside of Denmark has proven to be a huge hit with Londoners and visitors from all over the world. With a fully working bakery at its heart, you can see our bakers hard at work baking fresh pastries and breads still warm when they reach our beautiful glass counter.
Located on busy Haymarket within seconds of Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, the flagship store is open from early morning to late at night and is constantly bustling with happy customers trying to make that very difficult decision about what hand - made, pastry, cakes or breads they should be eating in or taking away!
Our baristas are constantly making our single estate coffee, whilst our super friendly knowledgeable staff are serving cold pressed juices, smashed avocado and eggs, artisan sandwich baguettes and premium salads. We also serve wine and beer, mouth-watering flavoured focaccia, amazing flatbreads, warming stews, cheese and meat plates for a relaxed evening crowd.
Whether you want to sit back and enjoy the beautiful simple, Danish design of the store or grab something to takeaway, we know you will leave with a big smile on your face and wanting to come back again and again for your favourite or try something new…
Moments from Richmond Green and the river, Ole & Steen's second UK store opened on May 5th in the beautiful, South-West London suburb of Richmond. It's a haven away from the bustle of George Street and the perfect place to meet friends or have a quiet moment alone at any time of the day with space upstairs and downstairs for fans of great food and a warm welcome.
More intimate than St James's Market, our Richmond store still serves everything you'd expect from Ole & Steen – fantastic single estate coffee, amazing pastries, superlative breads and our delicious breakfast and lunchtime specials. Our Richmond store is open from 7.00am so it's also the perfect place to grab a coffee and pastry on the way to the station if you're going into town.
Ole & Steen at Crossrail Place is now open, bringing our exceptional food and unique, Danish welcome to E14. The store opens at 7.30am so that even early birds needing a delicious single estate coffee and a pastry to set them up for the day can be satisfied.

In October 2017 we opened our 5th store in Victoria’s fabulous Nova complex. The area has become one of the most exciting food hubs in London and the bakery is one of our larger destinations with plenty of space for breakfast meetings, relaxed coffees, lunch catch ups and evening socialising. It is a 5 minute walk from Buckingham Palace and with Hamilton playing at Victoria Palace Theatre around the corner, there is plenty to do and see in the area.
With our usual warm welcome and fantastic food we are excited to be part of the Nova Food family.
Ole & Steen just a hop away from Oxford Street and Selfridges, Ole & Steen's Wigmore Street store is the place to relax for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner whether you're in town for meetings, sight-seeing or retail therapy. We're also ideal as either a quick or more leisurely lunch stop, or as a chill-out spot to rest weary feet at the end of a busy day.
We can be found in the Westfield London expansion and we have seating for over 100 customers, all day.
