Our skilful bakers have been sleigh-in' it again for this Christmas, as they have crafted a deliciously creamy treat, which not only celebrates one festive tradition, but two. For this year's holiday season, we are introducing the Mince Pie Festival Bun. A bun that combines the traditional English Mince Pie flavours together with a festive Danish classic 'Fastelavnsbolle'.
To make this masterpiece even more special, we’ve collaborated with the Meringue Girls, as we crown our Festival Bun with an exclusive, golden mince pie meringue kiss.
The Meringue Girls story began in 2012. Their female founders met while working as chefs in a restaurant kitchen in East London. As they bonded over a love of all things sweet and saw a gap in the market. They began introducing their meringue creations via London’s booming street food scene, which quickly becoming an Instagram sensation, working for clients such as Jimmy Choo, Chanel and now with Ole & Steen.

We have yet again turned on our ovens in our Oxford Westgate bakery. We are excited to after 18 months to finally say “Hej, again” to our neighbours in Oxford.
Our bakery can be found at 133 Queen Street Westgate. Our loyal customers and the residents of Oxford will yet again have the joys of Cinnamon Social slices, Chocolate Swirls, Chia Ryes, Toasties and so much more right by their doorstep.
Our Oxford bakery, currently Ole & Steen’s only bakery outside the capital, will be open from 9am every day, for eat in, takeaway, delivery and click & collect.

Our door has now opened to our brand-new bakery on Strand, and we are saying a big "Hej" to all our new neighbours in the West End.
Our new bakery has opened on 351-353 Strand, which means that morning commuters, theatre goers, tourists and Strand residents will have the joys of Cinnamon Social slices, Chocolate Swirls, Chia Ryes, Toasties and so much more right by their doorstep.
Our Strand bakery, Ole & Steen’s fourteenth in the capital, will be open from 7.30am every day, for eat in, takeaway, delivery and click & collect.

There’s already an autumn chill in the air and what better way to welcome the change in season than to enjoy our new additions to the range. This Autumn we embrace hygge and bring you hot bowls of goodness and Open Ryes, the Danish way.
Warm up on a crisp autumn morning with one of two deliciously creamy, vegan porridges and crunchy granola. Topped with either Berry Compote & Caramel or Cardamon Pears & Maple.
For lunch we are also introducing our two new warming soups. The rich and creamy vegan Celeriac & Potato soup, with parsley, dill, hazelnuts and truffle or our Chicken, Lentil & Broccoli soup is a perfectly healthy but hearty lunchtime option. A Danish lunch classic will also make its return this Autumn, as we reintroduce our range of Smørrebrød (Open Ryes).
For those with a sweeter tooth, you’ll be pleased to know we’ll also be introducing three new filled choux buns for you to try. Filled with a lighter than air mousse, pick from either strawberry and rhubarb, blackcurrant or mocha. Each bun is topped with fresh whipped cream and a meringue kiss.

Sustainability has always been of most importance. Throughout our product's life cycle, from baking through to how you enjoy your products at home, we’ve always worked continuously hard to ensure we can minimise food waste where possible, with much of our leftover bread and pastries being reused where possible in other products, for example leftover bread can be safely used to make bread cream, a starter for new breads.
In our pursuit to further minimise food waste, we are super excited to announce our partnership with the leading food waste platform Too Good To Go. The partnership means that all our bakeries in the UK are now signed up to the Too Good To Go app so that surplus baked goods are eaten and enjoyed rather than wasted.
Simply download the free Too Good To Go app and search for your nearby Ole & Steen. You can then purchase a ‘Magic Bag’ for £5, collect it at an allotted time and enjoy it. As the days get longer and the world begins to look familiar again, We are celebrating with a collection of new brunch offers from May 17th as our bakeries reopens for indoor dining.
Our legendary sourdough (or signature chia rye), baked fresh throughout the day, every day, is the foundation for smashed avocado and soft-poached free range eggs.
Why not add sea salt-cured salmon which has been smoked over manuka woodchips for 24 hours to create a mouthwatering flavour?
In addition, we offer the vegan option of smashed avocado on toast as well as our new Mango & Coconut vegan Yogurt. Plus, of course there are plenty of pastries, teas and coffees to make brunch into the best meal of the day.
The week of 17th May will be another key milestone in the UK’s reopening plan from Covid-19, as the hospitality industry yet again can reopen for indoor dining.
Thus, from Monday 17th May, all our London bakeries are ready to welcome you back to take a seat for your morning coffee, afternoon cake catch-up or your weekend brunching. No booking required, instead we operate with a first come, first served system.

We wish to be a part of those special moments which we all know are coming as lockdown restrictions start to ease. The Danes would call this hygge! So, whether it’s a picnic with your friends in the park, a stroll down London’s high streets, or simply having sweets treats for your family afternoon tea, we’re here to assist your post lockdown hygge-moments.
We are excited to be introducing plenty of fresh and delicious new items to our menu, which will not only be a mix of sweet and savoury, but furthermore add to the broader range for breakfast, lunch and dessert items. The 9 new products will include yoghurts, granola, sandwiches, salads and cakes.
The week of 12th April will be a key milestone in the UK’s reopening plan from Covid-19 - after more than a year of lockdowns, furloughs and consumers unable to see their loved ones.
We are therefore ecstatic to announce that the following six stores with open up for dining al’fresco: St James, Wigmore Street, Victoria Nova, Eccleston Place, Notting Hill Gate and Canary Wharf. On a later date we will also welcome you to our stores in Hampstead, Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus for outdoor dining.

Like many hospitality businesses at the moment, we are doing all we can to keep customers safe - as well as opening up as many of our sites as possible for takeaway, delivery and Click & Collect. As I’m sure our customers can appreciate, there are a number of variables that we have to consider before we re-open a location to ensure that it is not only safe, but also to guarantee the future health of the business.
Sadly, we have been unable to open our Oxford store since the first lockdown. We understand how disappointing this has been for the patrons of our Oxford store and we are very sad to not be serving our Oxford friends during this time.
Please be assured that it remains our intention to reopen Oxford as soon as we can, although we cannot currently set a date for this. We would like to thank our Oxford customers for their patience, and we look forward, in time, to welcoming you back.

All of our London stores remain open for takeaway, Click & Collect and delivery (via our friends at Deliveroo). Hey Cinnamon Social-ites! We are happy to announce that our NEW Willesden Green bakery is now delivering via our friends at Deliveroo to new postcodes in West London.
All our freshly baked bread, handcrafted pastries, cakes and more will now be available at your fingertips: 8am - 6pm, everyday.
We have regrettably been unable to reopen our bakery in Oxford for our loyal customers in that city. Throughout the pandemic, our aspiration as a business has always been to reopen all of our stores as safely as possible whilst getting our breads and pastries into the hands of those who love us, as quickly as we can. Our Oxford store is no different and we are closely monitoring all options regarding the Oxford bakery. Rest assured we will keep our social media channels updated with as much information as possible.
Our very first vegan cream cake has arrived - full of summer flavours, our Passion Fruit Slice is 100% plant-based. Made with a chocolate, coconut and puffed rice base, a fluffy lemon and passion fruit mousse, finished with a tangy passion fruit topping and chopped pistachios.Why not take shelter from the rain in one of our stores and try a slice with a cold glass of fizz to transport yourself to sunnier climes.

If you have been missing your weekend avo toast fix, we have good news to brighten your bank holiday weekend. Our Richmond, Westfield White City and Kensington High Street stores have brunch back on the menu. You can now enjoy our classic Smashed Avocado on Sourdough every Saturday and Sunday. Why not add perfectly poached eggs, crispy smoked streaky bacon, or Manuka smoked salmon?
Craving something sweet and summery? Try one of our new summer cakes, a Mango Pineapple Tart - the tropical cousin of our Strawberry Tart. Next is a returning favourite: our Lemon Cardamom Swirl. Handmade with 27 laminated layers of pastry, filled with persipan (a Danish twist on marzipan), lemon zest and aromatic cardamom, then rolled in sugar.

You asked, we listened. We are welcoming back our classic Cinnamon Roll to our menu across all open bakeries. The Cinnamon Roll is a light dough, filled with our signature cinnamon paste. We recommend having it the Danish way: spread with lashings of butter, for a delicious breakfast. Don’t forget to grab a coffee on the side, made with freshly roasted beans from Modern Standard!
